Episode: The Marquesas

We had arrived in the Marquesas, specifically Nuku Hiva, the most beautiful in our opinion. Golden skies, mountain peaks, red soil, black cliff faces and an awesome variety of flora and fauna welcomed us as we approached shore. The Marquesas are a group of volcanic islands 932 miles northeast of Tahiti; they are so isolated that they actually have their own time zone! Nuku Hiva is the largest island of them all, and is one of the six that is inhabited. Stay tuned as we relive our adventure in this magical hideaway.
